Branch Sales Representative – Dawson Creek

The Branch Sales Representative duties will include customer inquiries, sales, marketing for new/used equipment and rentals This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.  Integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role, along with experience or a strong willingness to learn our business and products.

Job Duties

Sales

  • Walk-in and general phone traffic is to be handled by the Branch Sales Representative handing off assigned account calls to the appropriate Account manager.
  • attachment/ implement sales.
  • price lists & special request pricing support.
  • Rental within DLE guidelines and policy.

New/Used/Rental Marketing

  • Develop branch focused promotions for new/used and rental to grow the business.
  • Prospecting and email contacts.
  • Provide customers with information regarding equipment for sale, rent and consignment.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generate and develop new customer contact.
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
  • Use marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
  • Provide financial information regarding lease and finance rates.
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and service, competitor activities and other research.
  • Works directly with branch and regional staff on projects and promotions as needed, or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Professional demeanor, selling style and appearance.
  • Understanding of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
