The Inside Sales Representative duties will include customer inquiries, sales, marketing for new/used equipment, and support duties around the branch. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and co-workers, and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role, along with experience or a strong willingness to learn our business and products.
Job Duties
- Walk-in and general phone traffic is to be handled by the Branch Sales Representative, handing off assigned account calls to the appropriate account manager.
- Receive incoming equipment and organize yard.
- Maintain displays and merchandising of equipment – positioning, signage, and cleanliness of machines.
- Cleaning and final inspection of equipment prior to customer delivery.
- Assist in finding units for sales, providing accurate ETA’s for units to the salespeople (working in conjunction with the Corporate Equipment Coordinator).
- Creating stock numbers for new & used equipment.
- Order power units with wholegoods bundles; provide purchase orders to suppliers when needed.
- Receive all inventory units & upload relevant data.
- Create detailed work orders for the shop on new & used equipment sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Branch sales for small attachment/implements/turf products.
- Assist sales team with price inquiries.
- Assist sales team with parts and service work orders requests.
- Assist with trade evaluations when required.
- Use marketing data and applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support financing applications and rate knowledge.
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and service, competitor activities and other research.
Requirements
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Professional demeanor, selling style and appearance.
- Understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
