Sales Coordinator – Vernon

This position will assist in all areas of sales, & equipment inventory control in Avenue’s Vernon and Kelowna branches. The position will be based out of Vernon.

Job Duties

Assist in finding units for sales; providing accurate ETA’s for units to the salesmen (working in conjunction with the Corporate Equipment Coordinator)

  • Creating stock numbers for new & used equipment.
  • Order power units, as well as wholegoods bundles for units.
  • Accurately account for, and bill out the wholegoods bundles to the units, at time of PDI/setup request.
  • Ensure accurately detailed descriptions and stock numbers are added to sales invoices.
  • Provide purchase orders to suppliers when needed.
  • Receive all inventory units & upload relevant data.
  • Create detailed work orders for the shop on new & used equipment sales and demo’s to go out, or be picked up.
  • Working closely with the sales manager, help to be the liaison between the sales department & the service department; ensuring sales related work runs through the shop smoothly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with floor plan audits in locating inventory.
  • Co-ordinate periodic & year-end wholegoods inventory counts.
  • Assist with Floor plan audits & in locating inventory / working closely with Corporate Sales Coordinator in Abbotsford BC.
  • Assist in taking pictures of used and new units that come to Vernon and Kelowna branches.
  • Other duties as assigned / additional administration duties.

Rentals

Coordinate & track rentals that are out with customers

  • Ensure billing is accurate
  • Work with service department on loaner/rentals when customer needs a replacement unit

Consignments

  • After a salesman has secured a consignment unit with a customer, organize the paperwork and coordinate with the shop anything that needs to be done.
  • Upon completion of consignment sale, work with sales manager and accounting to establish all costs for accurate payment to consignee.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of dealership administration, sales process and inventory.
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with MS Office and able to use other computer systems.
  • Attention to detail, in all areas of work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Build strong working relationships with Customers and Staff at all locations.
  • High level of personal integrity.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Self starter.

Work Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required, to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Able to lift small packages and machine kits for organizing of same.
  • Flexible schedule to meet workload as required.
