The Yard/Shop Labourer maintains the yard and shop to company standards. This role also supports the technicians and other staff as needed, For the right person, this role can be a step towards a more senior position within the company.

Job Duties
Maintain the yard and shop areas to keep them clean and organized at all times.
Detailing/cleaning of equipment as requested by supervisor.
Assist Service Technicians and perform work on equipment when required within skill level.
Keep yard organized as directed by the supervisor or management.
Support Safety standards to comply with DLE policies and report any safety concerns.
Maintain yard inventory, attachments & equipment for easy access and viewing in proper areas.
Audit equipment or attachment movement (MOG) carefully to ensure accuracy for tracking (Accurate paperwork and equipment inspection-incoming/outgoing).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Attention to detail in all areas of work, having a “safety first” attitude.
Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and “customer first” approach.
