Douglas Lake Equipment Grande Prairie is looking for motivated candidates for an open position of Part-Time/Summer Yard & Shop Labourer to maintain the yard and shop to company standards. This role also supports the technicians and other staff as needed.

Job Duties
- Maintaining the yard and shop areas to keep them clean and always organized.
- Detailing/cleaning/washing equipment as requested by supervisor.
- Checking/topping fluids & greasing units before they are sent out for delivery.
- Loading/offloading equipment & signing off on paperwork (packing slips, BOLs).
- Inspection of new units at time of arrival for damages.
- Organize equipment in the yard for easy access and as directed by the supervisor or management.
- Ensure accuracy for tracking (accurate paperwork and equipment inspection-incoming/outgoing).
- Operating of various farm equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or working towards it.
- Ideal for Students interested in RAP program as part of their education plan.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift trucks.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work, having a “safety first” attitude.
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and “customer first” approach
Work Conditions
- Working both indoors and outdoors, and hours of work may vary as needed.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 100 lbs.
- Overtime may be required.

Job Types: Entry level, Part time until schools out, Full Time in July August.
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 depending on experience
