The MS 251 gas-driven chainsaw has a STIHL 2-MIX engine with 2.2 kW (3.0 hp). Single-lever control enables you to perform essential functions with one hand, such as starting and stopping this power tool. As a result, you can operate the chainsaw comfortably and safely, as your right hand can always remain on the handle. To protect your joints and muscles, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine and power tool vibrations.
So that you can work as effectively as possible, this STIHL 251 chainsaw has additional features such as a tool-free fuel cap and pre-separation routing, which keeps coarse particles away from the filter. To additionally protect the engine from fine dust, you can also retrofit this gas-driven chainsaw with an HD2 air filter, meaning that your STIHL MS 251 will benefit from a long-life air filter system.
