The SHA 140 Battery Vacuum Shredder is the first dedicated vacuum shredder in the AP battery tool system, offering unmatched power surpassing even the gasoline-powered SH 86. Its lightweight, durable metal blades provide a 14:1 shredding ratio, while the innovative air flow management system ensures constant suction power regardless of the catcher bag’s fill level. This unit has robust metal buckles and a quick disconnect feature make emptying and maintenance simple, complemented by tool-free removal and wide openings for easy cleaning. Built with durable, weather-resistant materials, the SHA 140 is designed for efficient, reliable yard clean-up, making it ideal for professional use.

All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP-System have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.

AIR FLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
FOR CONSISTENTLY HIGH SUCTION POWER. In order to enable consistently high air flow, the collection bag has a special ventilation opening. Only air can escape from it – regardless of the fill level and degree of contamination of the collection bag. This is how STIHL Air Flow Management enables consistent suction power and so a consistently high level of work progress.
