Special message about COVID-19

Douglas Lake Equipment is still open and ready to serve our customers.

It’s a trying time in our industry, our communities and around the world. That being said, Douglas Lake Equipment is committed to remaining open to ensuring that we do our best to help our customers with the services they need and in a manner that ensures the safety of both our customers and our staff. 

Furthermore, the Agriculture and Construction industries are essential services, so we are taking every measure possible to ensure our customers are supported.

Douglas Lake Equipment has done the following in response to this crisis:

  • Enforcing social distancing and reduced the number of employees in the branches to the best of our ability
  • Arranging for employees to work from home if possible and reinforcing with our team members to stay at home if you are sick.
  • Increasing focus on sanitation and cleanliness in the branches
  • Canceling all non-essential travel
  • Set up the DLE chat feature on our website to enable you to connect with our live staff.

Should you want to, you can set up an appointment for a WhatsApp or Facetime chat with one of our representatives to show you a piece of equipment. 

Parts: our supply chain is in good shape and we have a full stock of supplies on hand. We encourage you to call our office to place your parts orders. This will allow for a more efficient process when arriving for pick up. At this time we are not accepting cash payments.

Service: our service department is in full operation. Due to the limited floor and office space we ask you to respect the 2-meter social distancing when visiting our facilities. Our field service techs are ready to travel to customer sites but will need to take the necessary precautions when on site.

Sales: we are providing support to our customers at our facilities but with limited numbers as most of our sales force will be working from their home offices utilizing telephone, email and video conferencing to communicate with our customers. We encourage you to call ahead if you are coming to the branch so we can make sure we have someone ready to help you. We commit to pre-authorization from our customers before traveling to your site.

We are currently in a quickly changing dynamic environment, but rest assured the health and safety of our customers and employees is at the highest priority.
